Justin Eckerd

Hello, my name is Justin Eckerd. I am 36 years old. I am an army vet, a music producer/audio engineer and plant medicine facilitator.

I got into plant medicine after meeting my wife Kathy. She lived with an urgency to heal mentally, which inspired me to go deep and discover how my own traumas were affecting my mental health. We both tried plant medicine and found significant answers.

Later I went on to study under our medicine community leaders, learning how to facilitate plant medicine journeys, prepare ceremonies, hold space and so many other great skills. I participated in this training for a total of 6 months. Within that time, every other month, I would travel to the community’s land for week long, in person, training. 

I currently use what I've learned to facilitate plant medicine journeys and apply the tools to my everyday life as a future father and music producer. My healing journey isn't over, but plant medicine has helped me in more ways than conventional medicine has and I'm so excited to share my story with you all.
